Lindsay Beaver & Brad Stivers have extracted the finest Texan ingredients their state has to offer, cooking up a blend of Soulful duet singing, Americana songwriting, and Texas Blues influenced guitar slinging. A Locked in both musical vibes and marriage, the Austin-based duo is destined to write, record, and perform until death do them part.
Both well-versed and experienced musicians in their own right, the duo's combined 40 years of musical know-how has seen them come together to create a riveting mix of original productions and covers at their intense, larger-than-life live shows. With lyricism based around love, relationships, and personal experiences on the road, all of which Lindsay Beaver & Brad Stivers draw from personally, their music is anything but contrived.
Individually, both bring an impressive array of previous accomplishments to this project. Lindsay, Hailing originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia began her musical journey as a jazz and blues drummer, She performed as a lead singer and drummer for almost a decade and in that was nominated for ‘Best New Talent and ‘Best Traditional Blues Recording’ at the Blues Awards, won ‘Drummer of the Year’ in 2018, and 2019 at the Maple Blues Awards, toured 15 countries in the last 7 years and has released music on Alligator Records. Additionally, she has performed with and/or opened for with a number of all-stars, including Jimmie Vaughan, Gary Clark Jr, Lou Ann Barton, John Hiatt, and JD Mcpherson.
For Brad, originally hailing from Seattle, Washington, he picked up the guitar for the 1st time at 11 and since then has recorded 5 albums, three of which he released under Vizztone Records hes received radio plays across the globe, collaborated with the likes of Malford Milligan and Sax Gordon, and has opened for Lurrie Bell and Tinsely Ellis with his own band project. Brad has toured extensively in the USA and Europe. He has also held weekly residencies at Antones and 8 years running strong at Friends Bar on 6th Street.
Lindsay and Brad will be releasing their sophomore release summer of 2023.
