Dying Suns
Dying Suns is a California Central Valley based modern psych-rock band influenced by a wide range of modern and retro-rock acts. Formed in 2018, while members were still in high school, the band has already differentiated themselves in the Central Valley music scene. Their emotional vocal melodies, funky bass and drum grooves, and fuzzed-out-soulful guitar provide a unique but retro sound.

“Chaotic bouts of garage rock induced sonic annihilation, contrasted in the same vein by the blissful mellowness of delay drenched Pink Floydian-esque cosmic jams, and mind altering psych pop ditties. Four-piece band of Seattle hailing psychoactive vibration makers, curate a live experience of songs flowing seamlessly between each-other like a cascading stream of never ending consciousness. Intertwined between loose improvisational jams, and tightly composed song passages, The Groovy Nobody’s aim is to provide an exemplary experience of what Neo-Psychedelia is all about.
Sam Larson’s mix of falsetto and vocal crooning are bathed heavily in a thick haze of tape delay that reverberates through the cavernous brains of onlooking spectators, as the driving hypnotic bass found radiating from Cameron’s finger tips begins charming the audience into a trance like state. The drums rhythmic repetitions emitted from Caity’s bludgeoning of the kit replace the heartbeat once found in your chest, as dripping fuzzy guitars produced by both Sam and Chris swirl around the ceiling before falling deep into your brain. “
