Crown The Quitters Tour Featuring Cosmic Kitten / Trash Sound Conglomerate /

Cosmic Kitten

The three-piece Long Beach post-grunge, punk, alternative-rock band Cosmic Kitten formed in 2016 are like a time capsule to the era of 90’s grunge. Karen Marie on guitar and vocals writes deep, thoughtful melodies and poignant meaningful lyrics. Whom in this role fluctuates from timid, shy vocalist to gritty, explosive screamer, taking you on an auditory journey through emotions and stories backed by a bright, fuzzy guitar. Zach Huckabee beats away at the drums with passion and aggression adding groove and drive, and most recent member Adrian Vargas glides across the fret board of the bass with agility and precision. The band has always put a focus on charging the audience with energy as well as allowing them a safe space to think, feel and express themselves as the individuals that they are.

They have released 3 full length albums, along with 2 cover albums in line with their musical influences ranging everywhere from Nirvana, The Melvins, PJ Harvey, to punk classics like Bikini Kill, The Wipers, The Gun Club, and Joy Division. The release of their first album, “Be Nice to Strangers,” was supported and praised among the local LA scene for its heavy-hitting yet meaningful hooks and lyrics. It wasn’t until their 2nd release in 2018, “Lobotomy,” that motivated them to venture on their first West Coast Tour, followed by other tours around the US. As they moved into 2020 with their 3rd album titled, "You Gotta Understand," recorded by engineer Ulysses Noriega (“Smash” by The Offspring), the Covid-19 pandemic set their next tour on hold until September 2021. Cosmic Kitten continues to make a splash in the LA and OC scene at its most well-known venues, opening for legends like Mike Watt among others.

Cosmic Kitten are currently working on their 4th full-length record with obscure but legendary 90s band The Gits' drummer, Steve Moriarty and underground legend Jack Endino. It is set to be released in 2023.

Balcony Bridge

“Bringing the music to the people.” That is the unifying vision behind Balcony Bridge, the four-piece Fremont, Seattle-based rock band. Comprised of lead singer and rhythm guitarist Julian Pearlman, lead guitarist Sean Moran, bassist Jacob Longhurst, and drummer Jack Moran, Balcony Bridge often performs for free in parks across Seattle, intending to deconstruct barriers between creatives and art lovers that often result from the financialization of art.

Their hard-driving neo-classic rock sound is unmistakable but somehow familiar. Julian’s vocal prowess allows him to deliver a performance that ranges from the sophisti-pop agility of a crooner to the distorted guttural realness of a punk screamer that defined so much of Seattle’s grunge era. Sean’s intricate and thoughtful guitar playing can hint at big arena rock but also dispel pretension by delivering heavy doses of self-aware disruptive sonic scenery. Jacob’s driving danceable bass groves will keep listeners on their feet and dancing through the band’s journeys of raw emotion, complex ideation, and playful self-awareness. Jack’s jazz and indie-inspired rock beats are the conjugate base for Balcony Bridge’s addictive sound.

Balcony Bridge started when Julian and Sean met at the Sunday Farmers Market in Fremont. After frequenting local open mics, the duo decided to start a band after meeting Jack at a local jam space. With original songs in their repertoire from a few months of playing together, the trio decided to head back to that jam space to attempt recording. Balcony Bridge took final form when Jacob was brought into that session to play bass on some songs and joined the band shortly after. For the last year, Balcony Bridge has been the self proclaimed busiest band in Seattle playing multiple park shows a week to bring the music back to the people while building a grass roots fan base. Performing in public parks is an important part of Balcony Bridge’s mission.
