The Grizzled Mighty

The Grizzled Mighty was formed from the fiery belly of an active volcano. From the center of the earth they erupted, spewed forth like a flaming phoenix. Ryan Rose from the ashes of destruction, guitar in hand bringing the erotic riffs of hades to the trembling surface.

Brent Amaker and The Rodeo

Country band Brent Amaker and the Rodeo were formed by veterans of the Seattle, WA, music scene, some of them rock musicians initially, consisting of native Oklahoman Amaker on vocals and guitar, Tim Harmon on lead guitar, Sugar McGuinn on bass, and Curtis Andreen on drums, with guitarist Louis O'Callahan joining later. (O'Callahan was replaced subsequently by Mason Lowe.) Deliberately retro in their approach, the group began by recording two monophonic 7," 45 rpm vinyl singles, "They Make Cowboys in Montana" and "This Is the Gun." They recorded their self-titled debut album in mono on a four-track reel-to-reel tape deck. Initially, they sold it at gigs in 2006; it was released nationally by J-Shirt Records on February 20, 2007. Gravewax released Amaker and the Rodeo's second album, Howdy Do!, on November 18, 2008.

Scott Yoder

Scott Yoder has been touring most of his life. Within his current project, starting in 2016 he has had 5 tours through North America & 3 in Europe. Both of his full length albums have sold out across multiple formats (CD, LP & Cassette). In 2019 he embarked on a “singles club” series, selling out of 6 7” singles limited to 100 copies each solely based on touring.

He has played domestic festivals like Capitol Hill Block Party, SXSW, Meltasia, Treefort & Lose Yr Mind Fest sharing the stage with the likes of Kevin Morby, A Place To Bury Strangers, Roky Erickson, Shannon & The Clams, Death Valley Girls, King Khan & BBQ Show and many more.

Emerging from the wreckage of his childhood band The Pharmacy, Scott Yoder arrived clad in a black cloak, stomping to the beat of his own sparkling tambourine. Over the course of two LPs & half a dozen singles he has toured the world, espousing a more personal distillation of his song craft. Nearly always on the road, he has honed his live act with a crunching, yet sensitive backing band of similarly-inclined misfits. This glitter-folk balladeer, adorned in mascara & bell bottoms invites you to sway to his entrancing charm.

Elvis Batchild

Elvis Batchild’s genre-bending sound fuses psych-rock, metal, and pop elements with sprawling vocal harmonies and funky basslines. Imagine Black Sabbath with elements of Tame Impala’s electrifying psych rock, fronted by David Bowie.

Lead singer Rein Laik challenges gender roles with his androgynous fashion sense and a distinctive stage presence that draws inspiration from queer icons like Prince, Freddie Mercury, and Kate Bush. The up and coming group is already a staple of the Seattle music scene, consistently delivering high-energy live shows at venues like The Sunset Tavern, Cafe Racer, and Neumos. Elvis Batchild released their first EP, “Batchild Begins” in 2021.
